Installing Cutenews

Okay first of all here is a list for this tutorial. I will try to put this in all tutorials so you can keep up on where you are on this tutorial. Click here to get your list, don't worry it is a pop up window. Okay lets get started.

Getting a host

Okay here is a big thing to know.DO NOT USE A PAIDED HOST FOR A CUTENEWS DIRECTORY. But I am not trying to be mean but that is wasting money for college, food, etc. So I prefer using Free Hostia. It is free, fast, and easier. But you can also use Awardspace, that is what Candle Light Graphics use. So got it? Okay lets move on.

The Uploading

Okay before you start this part of the tutorial look over your list. Also Click here to download Cutenews. And you will need Winzip, click here to get the free trial. Okay now go to your directory and make a folder called "cutenews" and make the folders that are in that folder you unzipped with Winzip. When you got all the of the files uploaded, go to http://yoursitename.yourhost.com/cutenews/index.php. And now you go through the installing process.

Finishing Up

Once you got all of the installing process finished, you can get your profile ready and then you can get your cutenews online.
